Chris Packham: A very good book. Poetry, prose science and conservation fuse with lovely photographs to tell a story of beauty and fragility.

Patrick Laurie: A very beautiful book about the soul-enriching Curlew.

The Cry of the Curlew: Images and Reflections on Beauty and Fragility is a nature-writing / art book. It contains 72 pages (21cm x 21 cm) and features an essay, poetry, and 49 pages of full-colour images. The Forewords are by author Mary Colwell (founder of Curlew Action), and by Galloway author, blogger and farmer Patrick Laurie. The book also features comments and reflections from Dales-based artists, past and present, whose work is inspired by the return each year of these soul-stirring birds.

Orders will be processed in 2-5 working days.
